Admission Process

DPU's Online MBA in Marketing Management admission process is simple and 100% online. Students will complete the full application process from their home by following a few simple steps detailed below:

Step 1 - Learner's Registration

Go to the official page and fill in your basic details. You are required to verify your mobile number and email address. You cannot proceed without completing the verification process.

Step 2 - Admission Form

Fill out the admission form by providing your personal details, educational history, and any work history (if any). Upload a recent photograph, your signature, and pay the fees.

Step 3 - Admission Confirmation by DPU

Once your documents and payment have been successfully validated, you will receive a confirmation via email and SMS. It will contain your student login details and the link to your learning portal.

Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for students applying to the Online MBA in Marketing Management program at DY Patil Vidyapeeth is based on the university's established eligibility criteria. Below are the eligibility requirements:

Educational Qualification:

Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in any stream or an equivalent examination from a recognised board or institution.

Grades:

A minimum of 50% marks in the undergraduate program is required. 45% marks in a bachelor's degree are acceptable for reserved category candidates.

Examination Pattern

DY Patil Vidyapeeth, Pune's Online MBA in Marketing Management, offers a flexible and fully online examination. Examinations are conducted in a proctored online mode twice a year, in June and December. The complete evaluation consists of two parts: Formative Assessment (30%) and Summative/Term-End Assessment (70%). A minimum of 40% marks is required in each of these to pass.

The DPU Online exam pattern also includes Self-Assessment Questions (SAQs), helping students continue their learning. These contain 10 MCQs, which are not graded but are helpful for practice and knowledge assessment.

Formative Assessment (30%)

It includes two assessments, which together account for 30 marks. Assignment I consists of 20 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) covering the unit-wise content to assess memory and understanding. Furthermore, Assignment II comprises 5 MCMR-type questions, based on a situational case, designed to evaluate application skills.

Summative Assessment (70%)

Summative Assessment for Online MBA in Marketing Management at DPU constitutes 70 marks. This assessment comprises 40 multiple-choice questions, 5 case-based multiple-choice questions, and 3 descriptive questions. These skills are helpful for understanding, application, analysis, and evaluation.
