Uttaranchal University MCA Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification: You need to possess a 10+2 with mathematics and a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognised university.

Grades: You need to score a minimum of 50% marks in your last qualifying education. For reserved category candidates 45% is acceptable.

Work Experience: It is not necessary, but it will be advantageous to you throughout the course.
 

Uttaranchal University MCA Examination Pattern

Uttaranchal University follows a transparent and simple examination process for the MCA course. Students are assessed with internal work and final online exams. A mock test is also offered prior to the end-of-term exam so that students can easily understand the procedure and pattern.

Internal Tests (30%)
The internal assessment provides learners with the opportunity to engage in all aspects of the course through quizzes, assignments, and project work, as well as assessing their own progress in the ongoing learning of the topic.

End-term Exam (70%)
The final exam will be 150 minutes in duration and is a proctored exam worth 70 marks. The exam will consist of a total of 40 MCQs and description-type exam questions. The MCQs will be worth 40 marks, while the description-type exam questions will account for 30 marks. There will be 2 formats for description-type questions. Format 1 will consist of 5 questions, each worth 2 marks. In the second format, there will be 2 questions worth 10 marks, including description-type questions.
