Uttaranchal University BCA Examination Pattern

At Uttaranchal University, the exam procedure of the BCA course is easy and fair. The students are graded based on both internal assignments and a final online exam. A mock test is also provided before the final exam, so students can familiarise themselves with the pattern and process.

Internal Tests (30%)
The internal assessment provides learners with the opportunity to engage in all aspects of the course through quizzes, assignments, and project work, as well as assessing their own progress in the ongoing learning of the topic.

End-term Exam (70%)
The final exam will be 150 minutes in duration and is a proctored exam worth 70 marks. The exam will consist of a total of 40 MCQs and description-type exam questions. The MCQs will be worth 40 marks, while the description-type exam questions will account for 30 marks. There will be 2 formats for description-type questions. Format 1 will consist of 5 questions, each worth 2 marks. In the second format, there will be 2 questions worth 10 marks, including description-type questions.
