The semester system of university for examinations is common to both graduate and master's degree programs. End-semester examinations are conducted at the end of each semester. The evaluation system for every subject maintains high transparency and is designed to offer students maximum performance.
The assessment is made up of two components: Term-End Semester Examination (TESE) and Internal Assessment Evaluation (IAE). The weightage of TESE is 70%, while IAE is 30%. A minimum score of 35% in the term-end semester examination is required to pass. Minimum passing criteria are not applicable in terms of internal assessments. Overall, a student should secure at least 35 marks out of 100 in a subject to clear the paper.
There will be assignments for all subjects derived from the separate units. A student must submit all assignments in order to complete the marks for internal assessment, the total comprising 30 marks. The term-end test is administered using an online platform with multiple-choice questions comprising 70 marks in total. The semester examinations will be conducted at the conclusion of the semester.
