The Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) of the Institute of Management Technology Centre for Distance Learning (IMT CDL) is a two-year program designed to provide managerial education to those looking to strengthen their management skills. Financial Aid

IMT CDL has created a Merit-cum-Means scholarship for the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) of society to sustain the eligible student for admission into the Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM). To become eligible for the award of this scholarship, the applicants must have secured a minimum of 75% marks or equivalent grade in their 10th, 12th, and graduation examinations, and their family annual income must be less than INR 8 Lakhs according to the SAKSHAM scheme of AICTE. The scholarship would offer financial assistance of INR 4,400 per semester for the entire period of the two-year PGDM program, aggregating to INR 17,600. The scheme's objective is to help the weaker section people reduce their financial burden and provide them freedom to choose the course according to their will. Along with this, IMT CDL also offers scholarships to different categories of people, including Serving/retired Indian defense personnel, War Widows, SC/ST and Divyangjan. These scholarships are available only for PGDM students who pass the eligibility criteria.

Admission Process

To take admission to any of the programs offered by IMT CDL, the candidate must follow the following process:

• Select Your Program: The first step is to explore the website and choose your program, which aligns with your career goals and objectives. It is the most essential step as identifying the suitable program can determine your skills and working capability.
• Fill out the Application Form: The second step is to fill out the application form with the basic and personal information such as name, contact details, email ID and other required information. Also, attach the necessary documents like educational certificates, working experience, mark sheets, etc.
• Program Fee: The next step is to submit the program fee with the different payment options available at the university to proceed with the admission process.
• Submit and Register: The next step is to submit the application form and register with the university. The university will check and verify all the information and eligibility criteria and provide you with confirmation of admission.

Examination Pattern

The assessment evaluation system comprises two types, i.e., internal assessments and end-term assessments. The internal assessments include different assignments, quizzes, and online discussions, which enhance the learning ability of the students. End-term examinations are conducted at the end of each semester and are weighted for significant contribution to the assessment. These examinations, usually online, are in the form of MCQs and short- and long-answer questions and are very important with respect to the entire evaluation system. Thus, students will be evaluated at each of the stages through internal evaluations and end-term examinations, where internal evaluations will help with the continuous assessment while end-term examinations assess for an overall understanding of the course content. IMT CDL uses online proctoring for all examinations to safeguard the integrity of the examination process. This also allows students to take examinations from anywhere in a fair manner. The grading system, therefore, also encompasses a comprehensive evaluation of students' performance through internal assessments and end-term examinations by issuing grades based on the accumulated performance of the student throughout the program.
