Admission Process

- Registration: This first step in the admission process involves filling out the admission registration form. Students must submit all required documents for further processing and pay registration fees.
- Enrollment and Payment: Students must fill out the admission form, submit all necessary documents, and pay their fees. The relevant documents include 10th (SSC) Statement of Marks, 12th (HSC) Statement of Marks, Graduation Statement of Marks, and Certificate, a Photo ID Proof (such as PAN card, Passport, Driving License, or Election Card), Aadhaar Card, and two current (not older than three months) stamp-size photographs.
- Enrollment Fees Payment: D.Y. Patil University accepts all modes of payments for enrollment fees. Students can pay through the online payment gateway, using credit card/debit card/net banking of their choice.
- Welcome Aboard (Admission Confirmed): The stage of admission is confirmed once the documents are verified, and the payment of enrollment fees is received. Upon confirmation, the student is eligible to access the online learning material and will receive their login credentials.
Eligibility Criteria
To apply for an Online MBA (WP) at DY Patil Navi Mumbai, the candidates must have passed the following eligibility criteria:
- Have completed their bachelor’s degree examination.
- From any recognized university or an equivalent degree recognized by UGC
- With minimum 40% marks
Examination Pattern
The semester system of university for examinations is common to both graduate and master's degree programs. End-semester examinations are conducted at the end of each semester. The evaluation system for every subject maintains high transparency and is designed to offer students maximum performance.
The assessment is made up of two components: Term-End Semester Examination (TESE) and Internal Assessment Evaluation (IAE). The weightage of TESE is 70%, while IAE is 30%. A minimum score of 35% in the term-end semester examination is required to pass. Minimum passing criteria are not applicable in terms of internal assessments. Overall, a student should secure at least 35 marks out of 100 in a subject to clear the paper.
There will be assignments for all subjects derived from the separate units. A student must submit all assignments in order to complete the marks for internal assessment, the total comprising 30 marks. The term-end test is administered using an online platform with multiple-choice questions comprising 70 marks in total. The semester examinations will be conducted at the conclusion of the semester.
