How to Get a Duplicate IGNOU Grade Card 2026?
Students who have lost, misplaced or did not receive the original copy of the IGNOU grade card can apply for a duplicate card through the official website of IGNOU.
- Step 1: Download the application form for obtaining a duplicate grade card or mark sheet from your regional centre page on the website.
- Step 2: Fill out the complete application form with the required details, such as name, program, enrollment number, address and more.

- Step 3: Pay the fee of ₹200 for Indian students and ₹400 for SAARC students to get the duplicate IGNOU grade card. The fee can be paid by demand draft.
- Step 4: Send the application form along with the demand draft to the Registrar (Student Evaluation Division), Indira Gandhi National Open University, Block 12, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi-110068.
- Step 5: Once processed, your duplicate grade card will be sent to your registered address via post.

IGNOU Reevaluation Process & Rules
IGNOU provides students the chance to reevaluate their term-end examination results. Students who want to apply for the re-evaluation of answer scripts can apply within 30 to 40 days of the result declaration.
How to apply for the IGNOU Re-evaluation Process?
Students can apply online for the re-evaluation process. The detailed guide is mentioned below:
- In the student services section, click on the “Reevaluation & Copy of Answer Scripts”.
- Log in using your enrollment number and program code.
- A new page will open; enter your email ID, phone number and exam centre code.
- Select the course to apply for re-evaluation or a copy of answer scripts.
- After selecting the course, click on the “Add Request” button.
- Your records will be saved.
- Upload your IGNOU ID card and then click on the “Save” button.
- After that, a fee payment link will be generated. Pay the applicable fee to submit your answer for re-evaluation.
Rules for IGNOU Re-evaluation
- You can apply for re-evaluation within the time limit provided. No responses are accepted after the last date.
- Only theoretical answer scripts are accepted.
- Re-evaluation is not accepted for project, dissertation, practical courses, lab courses, workshops, assignments, & seminars.
- Re-evaluation is not available for MCQ exams conducted on OMR sheets.
- The fee can be paid using debit card, credit card, and net banking.
- Students will get their answer script either as a scanned copy on the registered email ID or as a photocopy sent by post.
- If you applied for a copy of your answer script after requesting revaluation, you will only get it if it hasn’t been processed for revaluation.
