I was interested in learning about semiconductors and chipsets, that's why I chose this course. The syllabus should be updated to match the industry requirements. There are many fests and events happening in the college which makes our college life fun and immersive.\n\n

Good placement in 2024, decent Infrastructure, strict rules, and less practical knowledge.

I chose this course because I want to pursue a career in the mechanical engineering industry. This course provides good theoretical knowledge and decent basic practical knowledge in the field. However, syllabus content and marking system can be improved. Course could be designed to include more practical knowledge. Campus vibes are positive. There are many clubs to join in the college. Various events and fests are organized every year on the campus. Crowd is active and engaging. Numerous extracurricular and co-curricular activities take place annually, including cultural events, tech fests, Shivajayanti celebrations, and hackathons. College also offers scholarships to students from different castes and economically weaker sections to help them pay their college fees.

The placement here is quite good, and facilities are good. Good value for money.

I wanted to be an engineer so I opted for B.Teach in CSE as a course with data Science as a specialisation. They should provide more practice and placement training. In the mechanical department, there are more changes as compared to the technical branch to get placed because in our branch the company came to higher the women's and it's good for them and for us also. The fests and events on our campus are the best and crowd is too good. They provide scholarships as well.

My course is civil engineering. I chose this course because my college gives placements for all branches. The placement ratio of core branches is quite good. Events in my college are the best. All events are held between February to April month. The main event of the college is Sanskriti. It is held in April. Events are managed by the student committee.\n

As the cutoff of our college is 96-97 percentile in MHT CET, therefore, the students who are good in studies take admission. I wanted to be an HR so I have opted for the MBA in HR specialisation. People here are from different fields, but most of them are from related backgrounds. The best things are we have freedom here and the subject is way too relevant to the course we have opted for. Things can be a little different when it comes to online classes, we have portals where we can attend lectures and submit assignments, but the mentor we get can sometimes not respond. We will not know others from our batch and none will share the contact details.

My Opinion and Overview of Dr. D.Y. Patil School of Design.

I chose the Product Design course as I was interested in the flexibility of the degree, as well as my personal interest in the field of design. The best things about the course are probably the amount of hands-on experience and knowledge you get from the faculty as they are pioneers in their field. I'd just like longer holidays. There are cultural as well as design events in the college. The college is beside the Mumbai-Bengaluru Expressway, allowing for efficient connectivity to both cities. The college provides a scholarship as well!\n\n

I choose this course because I want to learn more about corporate life in the finance sector and pursue CFA side by side. The events are awesome and enjoyable. We make many contacts during the fest and enjoy a lot. The crowd is super interactive with extracurricular activities.

I have an interest in biology-related subjects and have deep knowledge about them with practical applications, so I chose this course. If you are more inclined towards gaining research knowledge along with technology while performing it, you can opt for this. Events are organized every year like fests with sports, dance, etc. As it is near Pune City, the connectivity is good with companies as it has an IT park. Along with studies, we can focus on extracurriculars also.\n\n

I chose this course because of my interest in business and management, best thing about this course is you will get knowledge about all business aspects, including financial, administrative, strategy planning, etc. I wish that they will add more practical activities in the course as well as technical courses, because being technically updated is in demand.\nThere is a yearly big fest as well as many other small fests and events in the college.\nYearly fest is for 3 days, which includes different theme and programs on each day like traditional day, retro day and finale day (red carpet outfit theme) and they also arrange various activities like games, singing, dancing, drama, ramp walk, etc.\nCampus is so good and peaceful.

Good infrastructure and campus, though teaching quality and faculty could be better. 

The syllabus offered by the college is good and gets you industry-ready. Teaching quality can be improved. Faculty can be better. Events and fests are not like at other colleges.
