The Online MBA Program from Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth, Pune, holds exams twice a year in June and December. These are proctored exams at various centres on set dates. The assessment includes several parts. Each unit has Self-Assessment Questions (SAQ), which are non-graded and test basic understanding through 10 multiple-choice questions (MCQs).
Formative assessment has two assignments. Assignment I include 20 MCQs worth 20 marks. Assignment II include 5 MCMR questions based on a case study, worth 10 marks, that helps in testing application skills. Together, these two assignments total 30 marks, and students need at least 40% to pass.
The final exam is divided into three parts, which covers 70 marks. Section A, which contains 40 MCQs of 40 marks, Section B, which contains 5 MCMR questions of 10 marks, Section C, which contains descriptive questions where students answer 2 of 3 questions, each of 10 marks, focusing on analysis and evaluation. Students must score at least 40% to pass the final exam.
